Mr. Glen B. Gosier is a native of Dixie, Georgia, where he was born and raised on his family's farm. He is a proud graduate of Brooks County High School in Quitman, GA, Class of 1999. He currently serves as an Agriculture Educator within the Thomas County Schools System and has established a distinguished career in the funeral service industry.
Mr. Gosier began his journey in funeral service in 2007 at Darien Funeral Home in Darien, GA, under the mentorship of Mr. Nathan Gilbert, who continues to be a guiding influence. He also received additional training at C. L. Page Mortuary in Jacksonville, FL, under the leadership of Mrs. Carla L. Page, a fellow native of Dixie.
Mr. Gosier is a proud graduate of Fort Valley State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education in 2006. He went on to obtain an Associate Degree in Funeral Service Education from Ogeechee Technical College in 2009. Furthering his education, he earned a Master’s Degree in Agriscience Education in 2011 and an Educational Specialist Degree in 2012, both from Auburn University. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Auburn University, demonstrating his commitment to lifelong learning.
A licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in both Georgia and Florida, Mr. Gosier is a Life Member (#14116) of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and is affiliated locally with the Mu Beta Beta graduate chapter in Thomasville, GA.
Mr. Gosier is married to his college sweetheart, Mrs. Endia N. Gosier, a highly accomplished healthcare professional. Together, they are the proud parents of six sons: Princeton, Triston, Gabriel, Glen Jr., Grant, and Grayson. In June 2022, Mr. and Mrs. Gosier achieved their lifelong dream of becoming funeral home owners with the purchase of Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home. They are honored to serve the community of Thomas County and the surrounding areas of South Georgia and North Florida with compassion and excellence.

Mrs. Endia N. Gosier is a native of Jeffersonville, Georgia, and a proud graduate of Twiggs County High School, Class of 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fort Valley State University in 2008, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Coastal Georgia in 2012. In 2016, she furthered her education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from South University. Mrs. Gosier is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in the states of Georgia and Florida and a dedicated healthcare professional. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Mrs. Gosier is married to Mr. Glen B. Gosier, and together they are the proud parents of three sons: Glen Jr., Grant, and Grayson, as well as three bonus sons: Princeton, Triston, and Gabriel. Since 2008, Mrs. Gosier has supported and played an integral role in her husband's journey in the funeral industry. In June 2022, the couple achieved their lifelong dream of becoming funeral home owners with the purchase of Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home.
Known for her caring heart and radiant smile, Mrs. Gosier warmly welcomes all who visit Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home, where her passion for service and professionalism leaves a lasting impression.


I currently serve as the Principal Secretary at Thomas County Central High School and as a Female Attendant at Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home. A proud native of Boston, Georgia, I now reside in Thomasville, Georgia. I am an alumna of Thomas County Central High School, where I excelled both academically and athletically, earning varsity letters in basketball and track and field.
My athletic achievements earned me a basketball scholarship, and I had the honor of playing collegiately at Darton College and Clayton State University. I am also a dedicated mother to two wonderful daughters, O'Miyah and My'Ajah.
I joined the staff at Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home a year ago, embracing the opportunity to provide compassionate support to families during one of the most significant times in their lives. My work in the funeral industry reflects my deep commitment to service and care for others.


Thomas C. Gosier is a dedicated professional and the older brother of Glen B. Gosier, the owner of Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home. A proud graduate of Brooks County High School, class of 1991, Thomas furthered his education by earning a Bachelor of Business Accounting from Fort Valley State University.
With over 2.5 years of service at Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home, Thomas has played a vital role in the operations and support of the funeral home, demonstrating unwavering commitment and compassion to families in need. His willingness to assist in any capacity reflects his deep-rooted values of service and community support.
In addition to his contributions at the funeral home, Thomas is highly respected in the accounting profession. His expertise in financial management and accounting principles has earned him recognition among peers and clients alike. This dual proficiency in both funeral service and accounting allows him to bring a unique perspective to his work, ensuring that families receive not only compassionate care but also sound financial guidance.
Thomas is known for his strong work ethic and dedication to helping others during their most difficult times. He embodies the spirit of the funeral home's motto: "Our Purpose, Plan, and Prayers are to Persistently serve the People with Passion." His contributions not only enhance the operations of Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home but also reinforce the caring atmosphere that families have come to rely on.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Thomas is actively involved in his community, always ready to lend a helping hand. His commitment to service, combined with his educational background and respect within the accounting field, positions him as a valued figure within both the funeral industry and the local community.


Eric Hampton, a proud native of Thomasville, Georgia, was educated in the Thomasville City School System and is a distinguished 1983 graduate of Thomasville High School. Following his graduation, Eric answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Navy. From 1984 to 1988, he served with honor and dedication, receiving an honorable discharge upon completing his service.
After returning to Thomasville in 1988, Eric began a distinguished career with the Thomasville Police Department, where he currently serves as the Assistant Chief of Police.
Eric’s connection to Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home began in his youth. Growing up on Wright Street next door to the funeral home, he was captivated by its operations and inspired by its former owner, Mr. Benjamin Hatcher, who became a lifelong role model. As a young man, Eric joined the funeral home staff, initially tasked with maintaining the pristine condition of the newly paved parking lot. Following his military service, he returned to the funeral home as a funeral attendant and administrative assistant to Mr. Hatcher.
With 36 years of dedicated service to Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home, Eric has recently been promoted to Operations Manager under the ownership of Mr. Glen Gosier and Mrs. Endia Gosier.
Eric is happily married to Mrs. Charlene Hampton, a native of Twiggs County, Georgia. Together, they embody a shared commitment to family, community, and service.


Earl Harris, a native of Iron City, Georgia, later moved to Bainbridge, Georgia, where he graduated from Hutto High School as a proud member of the Class of 1968. Afterward, he relocated to Thomasville, Georgia, where he furthered his education at Thomas Technical School (Walton Vocational-Technical Division), earning a diploma in Auto Body Repair.
Earl served his country with distinction as a Combat Engineer (Demolitionist) in the U.S. Army during his deployment in Korea. Upon completing his military service, he embarked on a remarkable 30-year career with the Thomasville Fire Department. Earl rose through the ranks, serving as a Firefighter, Driver Engineer, and Lieutenant, ultimately retiring with honor as a Captain.
Earl is a devoted husband to Lizzetta (Wilson) Harris, his wife of over 50 years. Together, they have raised a loving family of three children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A man of faith, Earl is an active member of Clifford Temple C.M.E. Church, where he continues to serve his community.
For over 40 years, Earl has been a dedicated team member at Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home. His unwavering commitment to excellence and compassion has made him a vital part of the funeral home’s mission to serve families with dignity and care.


Mr. Ronald Haywood is a proud 1988 graduate of Thomas County Central High School. He furthered his education at Thomas University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2021, Mr. Haywood retired from the Army Reserves after 30 years of honorable service to his country.
Mr. Haywood is happily married to Rasheedah Haywood, and together they are blessed with four children and two grandchildren. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling and riding his Harley, pursuits that reflect his love for adventure and exploration.
Mr. Haywood began his journey in the funeral service industry in 2006, under the mentorship of the late Jerry Grooms. With years of experience and dedication, he continues to serve families with compassion and professionalism, embodying the values instilled in him throughout his career.




Elder James Knolton Sr. is the Senior Pastor of Refuge Temple Ministries in Ochlocknee, Georgia, where he has faithfully served as pastor for 28 years. He is a proud father to three wonderful children—James Jr., Tranessa, and Stephanie—and has been happily married to his loving wife, Mrs. Wanda Horne Knolton, for 52 years.
Elder Knolton's journey with Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home began just before his 16th birthday when the funeral home also operated an ambulance service. Following his military service, he achieved a historic milestone by becoming one of the first African American firefighters in the City of Thomasville. During this time, he resumed his work with the funeral home, continuing a lifelong commitment to serving families in their times of need.
With decades of dedicated service, Elder Knolton has been an integral part of the Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home staff throughout his adult life. Known for his wisdom and unwavering faith, his personal motto, "If you don't see it now, just keep looking!" reflects his enduring optimism and belief in perseverance.
Elder Knolton's life is a testament to his dedication to ministry, community service, and compassion for others.


My name is Travonte Lomax, and I have been a proud member of the Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home staff for three years. From a young age, I have been passionate about pursuing a career as a funeral service professional. I find fulfillment in ministering to families through dedicated and compassionate service, helping them navigate significant moments in their lives.
In addition to my work at Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home, I serve as a youth minister and the Minister of Music at Refuge Temple Church in Ochlocknee, Georgia. Working with youth and young adults is a true calling, and I am deeply committed to inspiring and uplifting the next generation.
Outside of work, I enjoy music, traveling, spending quality time with my family, and seeking opportunities to be a positive influence on others. My personal motto, "Doing the right thing never goes out of style," guides my life and work, driving my commitment to excellence and integrity in all that I do.




I have proudly served as a dedicated member of the Hatcher Peoples Funeral Home staff for 11 years. Working in funeral service is more than just a job for me—it is a passion. I find great fulfillment in bringing comfort to families during difficult times, and nothing compares to the joy of seeing the smiles on their faces when they see their loved ones honored with dignity and care. This has been a dream of mine since childhood, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to pursue it.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to the late Mr. Hatcher for giving me my start in this field and for believing in my potential. Today, I am honored to continue this work under the leadership of Mr. and Mrs. Gosier, who have not only allowed me to carry on my passion but have also provided outstanding guidance and support. They are truly remarkable individuals, and I am proud to be part of their team.
In my personal time, I enjoy riding motorcycles and exploring new recipes in the kitchen, combining my love of adventure and creativity. These hobbies, alongside my work, keep me energized and inspired to serve others with excellence and compassion.
