Obituary
ROBERT LEE HARRISON, SR., was born on July 12, 1940, in Metcalf, Georgia, to the late Leola Wade, Earl Rollins, Sr., and Earnest Wade.
As a young child, he went to New Union School and started working as a farm laborer and at Metcalf Lumber Company for many years. He later worked at Flower Baking Company
as an operator for twenty- five years until his retirement, he then worked in the Thomas County school system as a custodian.
Robert was loyal and loving to his family. is love and devotion was also poured into Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as an usher for many years.
With all his life accomplishments, he married Maggie Francis Harrison in 1956. From this union, seven children were created, Barbara Ann Marable, Yvonne Hutto (Clint), Brenda
Lewis, Teresa Phillips, Glenda Scott (Terry), Robert Harrison, Jr. (deceased), and Sandra Glenn (Lewis).
On May 30, 1981, a second union was developed with Beverly Cummings Harrison that created two children, Ashley Harrison and Eric Harrison, (Jennis) and stepsons, Gejuan
Cummings and Kendrick Cummings.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: fourteen siblings, brothers, Earnest Wade, Jr. (Lucille), Eddie Morris Wade (Linda), Larry Wade (Gaylor), and Earl Rollins (Bobbie), and
sisters, Bessie Broadnax, Estella Sanford, Maydell Fryson, Queen Austin (Saughnto), Angie Prophet (Ellis), Mona Wade (Ronnie), Vivian Rollins, Ernestine Rollins, Mary Geraldine
Rollins, Earl Rollinsm Jr. (Bobbie), and Rebecca Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family members, and friends. Two of his oldest grandchildren, Adrick
Ceaser and Takeysha Che, were also raised in the home with him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Harrison; son, Robert Harrison, Jr.; mother,Leola Wade; fathers, Earl Rollins, Sr., and Earnest Wade, Sr.; brothers, Willie Gus and
Napoleon; and sister, Ethel.
