Mr. Ralph Rufus Davis was called home on February 26, 2022. He was the son of the late James (J.T.) Davis, Sr. and the late Adell Moore Davis.
He was married to the late Barbara Jean Miller. In his early years he was employed by the Brian Center. Ralph was affiliated with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Metcalf, Georgia.
He leaves to mourn his passing one loving daughter, Paula Davis of Thomasville, Georgia; four sons, Alfred Gatlin, Melvin Davis, Cedric Minor, and Ralph Minor all of Thomasville, Georgia; one bonus son, Shedrick Miller of Cairo, Georgia; one bonus daughter, Tamiko (Adrian) Johnson of Cairo, Georgia; seven sisters, Lessie P. McKinney (Don Clark) and Johnnie Mae McCall, both of Thomasville, Georgia, Vera Mae Watson, Isabell Prophet, and Bernice Guyton, all of Miami, Florida, Sylvia Ann Green of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Eddie Belle Davis (Rev. Willie James Davis) of Rochester, New York; four brothers, Felix Davis, Arthur Davis, and Anthony Davis, all of Thomasville, Georgia, and James Hadley of Miami, Florida; a special cousin, Roosevelt Davis; a host of special friends, Cynthia Harper, Maxine Taylor, Margie Hadley, Linda Williams, Friends at the Petro, and Circle K, host of friends at Providence Plaza of Thomasville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, James (J.T.) Davis, Sr. and Adell Moore Davis, his sisters, Geneva Davis and Lillie Ruth Lewis, and his brother, James (J.T) Davis, Jr.
