Mamie Williams Law was born on March 26, 1927, to the late Manassab Williams and the late Rosa Bowens.
Mrs. Mamie W. Law joined the church at an early age and she humbly served our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The St. John A.M.E. Church of Boston, Georgia, was her faith-based place of worship until under God’s plan she was called Home to Glory. She was a faithful missionary worker who worked diligently and enthusiastically. She was affiliated with the order of Eastern Star, Hanna Pride Chapter #3.
She was joined in matrimony to the late Robert L. Law, Sr., and seven devoted children were born to this union. Later in life, she had her eighth miracle child.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Linda Gail Law, Bettye Law Burgman, and Audrey Elaine Law, and one granddaughter, Felica (Lisa) Law.
She leaves a loving family to cherish and honor her life: five adoring sons, Robert Jr. (Gwen) of St. Petersburg, FL, John Wesley of Thomasville, GA, Wayne (Frankie)
of Barwick, GA, and William (Elaine) and Charles, both of Boston, GA; two loving sisters, Jessie (Robert) Brown of Thomasville, GA, and Annie Campbell of Clearwater, FL; one brother, Eugene (Miriam) Bowens of Thomasville, GA; ten grandchildren, Willie Jr. (Michelle) and Rosalyn (Lewis), both of Safety Harbor, FL, Monica, Melinda, and Jonathan, all of Thomasville, GA, Dewayne (Iris) of Cario, GA, Daphne and RobertIII, both of St. Petersburg, FL, April of Tallahassee, FL, and Syreeta “Twandale” of Alexadia, VA; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
