On August 9, 2022, the living spirit of Larry Tucker Sr. departed this life peacefully and entered the arms of Jesus.

Larry Tucker Sr. was born in Grady County, Georgia, on August 5, 1952, to the union of E. L. and Elma Tucker.  Larry was educated within the Cairo Georgia School System.  Later Larry moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he worked as a crane operator.  Larry served his country in the United States Army.  After leaving the military, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he worked with Amtrac Railroad for many years.  He enjoyed working in his yard and associating with friends and family, especially his grandkids.  In 1970, he met his wife-to-be and they married in 1972.  To this union, two sons were born, Larry Jr. and Oronde Tireck Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: E. L. and Elma Tucker.

He leaves to cherish his memories his Wife: Elaine Everett Tucker; Sons: Larry Tucker Jr. and Oronde Tireck Tucker; Grandchildren: Taniyah, Treyvon, Andre, Deqwinn, Jocquez, Zakylia, Zion, and Zamir; Great-Granddaughter: Aria; Sister: Diane Tucker; Brother: Earl Tucker; Aunts: Catherine Jones, and Lucille Mathis; Sisters-In_Laws: Loretha (Willie), Hattie Tucker, Annie Lee Tucker, and Aretha Tucker; Brother-In-Law: Willie Everett (Brenda); Special Friends: Cody, Geno, Randy, Harry and Butah and Special Godson: Shandell Mills.  As well as a host of Relatives, Family, and Friends.
