Joseph B. Adams Sr. was born on December 27, 1951, in Thomasville, Georgia, to the late Herbert “Jack” and Marie Seabrooks Adams. He was known as “Big Joe” to his family and friends. Joseph attended Douglass High School (Class of 1970) and was a part of the Douglass Lions football team. He was a painter by trade and was always the jokester at many family gatherings.
