Devantae LeQuez Graham was born December 30, 1993, to Elaine Graham and the late Isaac Burdon in Thomasville, Ga. Devontae joined the Providence Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. E.C. Virgil. Where he was a member of the choir, Sunday school, and he loved to praise dance with N2Him. He later joined Disciples of Jesus Ministries under the leadership of the late Bishop Israel Blake.
He was a member of THS c/o 2012, however he graduated from Fort Gordon Youth Challenge Academy in Augusta, Ga. Where he proudly received his certification in Culinary Arts. His love for cooking delicious meals did not go unnoticed. Devante’s ultimate passion was seen not only in his worship, but through working with youth and young adults. After Graduating Devantae did not forget about the youth in the community, he volunteered as a mentor with the Boys & Girls Club. Devante did not believe in allowing his spiritual fruit to just hang idle. He had a great talent for writing poetry. He was formally employed with the Youth Detention Center as a correction officer and a chef at Archbold M. Hospital until his health failed.
Devantae has a heart of Gold, and his love was shown to all his family. He leaves to cherish his memories with his Sisters: Lisa & Olivia Graham, both of Thomasville, Ga. and Kierra Davis of Columbus Ga; Aunts: Fannie Giddens, Teresa Williams, Linda Graham, and Valarie Hadley, all of Thomasville Ga; Nieces & Nephews: Mia Brown, Ladarrius Small, Zachery Kerbo, Zaleria Kerbo, Zacharie Kerbo & Chasen Kerbo; Sister: Jessica Burdon; Aunts: Dianna Christopher & Mary Wolfe; Uncle: John Burdon
God blessed Devantae to spread his love for family by blessing him with a bonus family. His Mom Mamie Davis; Sister: Saundra (Artreil) Austin of Thomasville, Ga; Foster Sisters: Sophie Davis and Shawna Williard both of Thomasville Ga; Foster Nieces: Sierra Derico and Jamaya Austin both of Valdosta Ga; Great-Nephew: Kyson Rose. Special friends Jarrious Mitchell, Demetrius & Chandrika Hadley. Devantae was preceded in death by his Dad Issac Burdon, Uncle Eugene Graham, and Foster Dad Herman Davis, Jr.
