Wesley Hollis, Sr.

Wesley Hollis, Sr. was born on July 31, 1945 in Pavo, GA to the late Brown Hollis, Sr. and the late Lillie Mae Mays.

He departed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, FL.

Wesley was self-employed as a brick mason until he retired.

He was a member of East Grove Missionary Baptist Church and of Scott Temple Lodge #404. He was a Master Mason.

Wesley is survived by his wife: Brenda Anderson Hollis; a sister: Lavern McCrae (Benjamin); a brother: Boyd Hollis; Sons: Dan Hollis, Daniel Anderson (Tonya), Shadrick Hollis,Sr. (Martha); Daughters: Evetta Hollis, Tonya Tibbs, Ida Bell Wilson (Ronnie), Melisse McCray (Terry), Sharon Jegede (Adeshina), Christie Whitaker, Latonya Sanchez (Edward Sr.), Devoria Hollis and Davitris Hollis; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special friend: Ms. Jean Ford.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Wesley Hollis, Jr.; Brothers: Brown Hollis, Jr., Mitchell Hollis and a sister: Lula Mae Smith.
