On February 16, 1953, the late Watson Daniels, II, and the late Dorothy Worlds Daniels, welcomed the first of five children, Watson Daniels, III, (affectionately known as Kooter) into this world. When his father passed on September 2, 1962, at the age of 32, he stepped into the role of father for his four siblings and has been rock solid until January 28, 2026.
He accepted Christ as his Savior at a very young age and joined St Matthew M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev F. S. Saffold. He was also a member of the last class to graduate from our beloved Seminole County Training School, the Class of 1970. After graduating from high school, he decided, along with seven of his classmates, to attend Thomasville Technical College, where he enrolled in the Auto Body Mechanic course and became one of the best at his craft. He worked at Thomasville Motor Company and later at Pro Body Shop.
Win, lose, or draw he was a diehard Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, and Georgia Bulldog fan. After moving to Thomasville, he met Brenda Sanders, and they were married in June 1973; but after twenty-two years, the marriage ended, and they remained friends.
He was an active member of Mercy Seat Christian Church, serving on the usher board under the leadership of Dr. Leon Jones until he retired, and then under Rev. Tony A. Bowdry and when he first joined Mercy Seat, a sweet little girl, Destini Burkes, walked up to him and claimed him as her grandfather and he fell in love with her. In 2025, he met a young lady, Bravonda McCall, while working at Publix Grocery Store and she had a beautiful little three-year-old girl, Sariyah White, who absolutely loved him and he loved her.
He leaves to celebrate him, a brother, James Daniels, three sisters, Dorothy Jean Daniels, Flossie Daniels Smith, all of Donalsonville, Georgia and his beloved "Sergeant Lewis", Janice Daniels Lewis, of Daleville, Alabama, one nephew, Patrick Moore (Stephanie), of Dothan, Alabama, three nieces, Shabria Moore, of Donalsonville, Georgia, Brianna Bonds & Felisse Whitehurst (Cory) of Dothan, Alabama, his former wife, Brenda Sanders-Daniels, one aunt, Ruby Hopson, Tampa, Florida, his "God Blessed Me With Granddaughter", Destini Burkes, his fiancé, Bravonda McCall and her daughter, little Miss Sariyah White all of Thomasville, Georgia, many cousins that are more like sisters and brothers than cousins, his beloved classmates of 1970, his church family and host other family and friends, especially Donalsonville/Thomasville, Georgia and Tampa, Florida.
He loved the city of Thomasville and whenever he came home, when it was time to go back to his house in Thomasville, he would say, " Well, them roses are calling me and he would head home to the City of Roses.
