Sue Ella Johnson was born to the late Sam Wilson, Sr and Emma Wilson on April 15th, 1942.
Sue Johnson attended Douglas High School in Thomasville, GA.
Sue joined The Church of Christ in St. Petersburg, FL in 1965 and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Sue Ella Johnson affectionately known as Boot and Mommasita to close family and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her loving parents Sam Wilson and Emma Wilson, her siblings Ruby Lee Mackey, Gladys Leaks, Sam Wilson Jr., Annie Will Young, and Willie “Moon” Wilson & her loving daughter Emma “Lady” Williams, Life companion Willie Biggins.
Sue leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted son Perry L (Angelia) Wilson I. Her Grandchildren Sherrie (Zedric) Ramsey, Renada (Demetrius) Franklin, Pamela (Clifford) McClarin, Perry L Wilson II, Tamiracle Wilson & Nevaeh Wilson.
Great-Grandchildren Sedarius Jackson, Perry L Wilson III, Kingston Pettis. Great-Great grandchildren Gabriella Watford, Emma Jackson, Jalani Jackson, Jayden Hayes & Demetric Tisdale Jr.
An Uncle Cecil Wilson, A loving Niece Louise YL Phillips, Nephews James Rogers, Jr., Eugene (LaTrenda) Leaks, Alvin (Joy) Leaks, Kendrick (Diedra) Leaks, Great nieces India Leaks & Joselyn Leaks, Great nephews Keandre Leaks, Alvin Leaks Jr., and Christian Leaks and a hostof extended family and friends.
Sue Ella Johnson worked as a seamstress for many years at Browns Upholstery. Sue had a zest for life and she absolutely loved to travel. Sue was a morning person and hit the floor running every morning for as long as she could. Sue truly believed that you had to grab the bull by the horns everyday because she was a Ram and if you knew Sue you know the rest of her saying. Sue loved to show her love to friends and family by cooking for them. Sue had a catch phrase for just about any situation in life. Anyone that met Sue loved her and she didn’t meet many strangers that she didn’t turn into a friend or adopted family. Sue was fierce and her favorite color was red, so everyone could see her coming.
Sue relocated to McDonough, GA to live with her son and his family in 2009. The last years of her life Sue was a resident at Lake City Nursing & Rehabilitation. Sue won the title Ms. Lake City enough to think that she was actually in charge of the facility. Sue was loved by the residents and staff. She was a force to be reckoned with until she departed this life and shewill be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
