Sharon Louise Paulk, affectionately known as “Lady Sha” by her friends and fellow Raiders fans, was born in Miami, Florida, on February 15, 1951. Sharon received her wings and departed this life on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA. Sharon was the only daughter of Thomas E. Paulk and Willene Daniels Paulk. She received her early education in Miami-Dade County Public Schools and graduated from Miami Coral Gables High School in 1969. She attended Miami Dade Community College and received an Associate’s Degree. A few years after receiving her Associate’s Degree from Miami Dade Community College, Sharon received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, and began a career as an Elementary School Teacher in the Miami Dade County Public School District. Sharon loved teaching. She was a dedicated teacher who cared greatly for her students. She taught 3rd grade at Douglass Elementary School for over 30 years before retiring in 2012. After her retirement, Sharon moved to Boston, GA, and remained there until her untimely death.

In addition to being a dedicated educator, Sharon was a devoted mother to one son, Christopher Antonio Paulk, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Paulk, and her maternal grandparents, Willie and Lula Daniels, and her paternal grandparents, Gordon and Mamie Paulk, and one brother, Ronald F. Pyles. She leaves to mourn her passing one devoted son, Christopher and his wife Tanikka; five grandsons, Christopher II, Corey, Cornelius, Courtney, and Cameron; her mother Willene Daniels Pyles; 5 brothers, Michael, Craig, Dwayne, Keith, and Daryle; four uncles, one aunt, a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, friends, colleagues, other relatives, Godmother and devoted colleague, Alice Reeves of Thomasville, GA, and devoted Raiders fans comprising the Raiders nations of Florida and Georgia.
