Rosetta Spradley, aged 67, passed away on November 7, 2024, in Thomasville, Georgia. Born on September 11, 1957, Rosetta was known for her sarcastic humor, diligent work ethic, and unwavering loyalty as a friend, sister, and mother. She found joy in watching BET sitcoms, engaging in porch conversations with loved ones, and spending quality time with her great-grandchild, Tyler.
Rosetta attended Cairo High School, which laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Her professional life included significant stints at Camellia Gardens from 2000 to 2005 and Johnson's Institute from 2008 to 2019, where she made lasting contributions and formed cherished relationships.
Beyond her professional and family life, Rosetta had a passion for gardening, fishing, and binge-watching her favorite television shows, activities that brought her immense pleasure and relaxation. She leaves behind a loving family: Daughter Angelita Travis, Son Bobby Spradley, Grandchildren Jordan Dix, Charday Dix, and Ladaja Dix, and Brothers Robert, Ezekiel, and Walter Hadley. She was preceded in death by her Parents, John and Katherine Spradley, Sister Estella Spradley Samuel, and Brother Raymond Spradley.
A service to honor Rosetta’s life will be held at Hatcher's Funeral Home, 820 Wright St, Thomasville, GA, on November 23 at 1:00 PM. In place of flowers, contributions may be made to charities supporting epilepsy or heart disease, causes close to Rosetta's heart.
