Rodney Hall

Rodney Hall, age 62, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at the Wilson Hospice House. He was born on May 12, 1962, to the late Lavern Hall Edwards. He was preceded in death by his first and most cherished Nana, the late Thelma Hall, and his Grandaddy, the late Horace Hall Sr.

Rodney had a zest for life and enjoyed watching wrestling, dancing, and also collecting his hundred dollars ($1). In his fun time, he also loved listening to Michael Jackson’s songs and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Rodney embraced having fun and absorbing life to the fullest, loving creative people and creative things God afforded him on this earth.

His beloved caretaker, Mrs. Ann, lovingly known as Nana, came into Rodney’s life, providing care, love, and inspired his passion for attending church singing and praying to God. Rodney became a member of Alpha Baptist Church in Leesburg, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Joe Pollock.

Rodney was greatly loved and will be missed, he leaves to cherish his memory: Cheryl Edwards-Wesley (Tory), Kent Edwards of Albany, GA, and Sharon Miller of Newton, GA.  He is also survived by his beloved Uncle Horace Hall Jr. (Carrie), Aunt Cheryl Hall Roberson (James), and Great-Aunt Gladys Hall. Also, his newfound family Annette Herndon (Mike)and Wayne, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and others.

Rodney will be deeply missed, and forever remembered for his vibrant personality, and the joy he brought to those who knew him.
