Oscar Killings, Jr. was born on May 10, 1936 to Oscar Killings, Sr. and Cherry Killings in Thomasville, Georgia. He attended the local schools.
Oscar was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Doretha Shaw on February 28, 1970. He worked for Royal Janitorial Services for fifty years and retired in 2001. Oscar’s favorite hobby was fishing.
Oscar Killings, Jr. book of life closed on Monday, August 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doretha Killings; parents, Oscar Sr. and Cherry Killings; sisters, Maggie, Ozie Bell, Eira Mae and Annie Grace; brothers, Haywood and Otis; and grandson, Freddie McCormick.
Oscar leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Linda Killings Saddler; three grandchildren, Aundrea Bevel, Dorothy Ann Newton, and Eddie Charles McCormick; siblings, Henry Lee (Ruth), James Joseph and Linda (Henry); six great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
