Obituary To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. Ecc. 3:1-2
Nathan Reynolds, the son of the late Alex and Francina Williams Reynolds, was born December 29, 1949 in Leon County Florida. Growing up in a nurturing family, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and joined the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. In later years, (2007), he joined the First Unity Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Trustee Board and Sunday School. His educational journey began at an early age in the Leon County School System where he attended Lincoln High School. Later, his quest for explorations and challenges took him to the Tallahassee Public Works where he enjoyed many years in the department of public service and sanitation. Nathan loved people, especially the elderly. He was a genuine humanitarian who believed in sharing unconditionally by helping the least and downtrodden among us. Additionally, he enjoyed natural pastimes, such as fishing and gardening, and conversing with others about his experiences. He leaves to cherish a loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Helen Ross Reynolds; sister, Frankie Mae Elien; sisters-in-law, Christine Ford, Mable Johnson, Clara Ross; brothers-in-law, Rev. Charlie (Janice) Ross, Jessie Ross; god daughter, Bethany Bradford, god grandchildren, Jayce Hayes, Ayden Bradford; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Georgia Mae Hayes.
