Monica Elizabeth Marshall Perkins

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Monica Elizabeth Marshall Perkins.  Celebration of life services for her passing will be honored by her family and friends on , Saturday November 20, 2021 at 3:00 pm from Peaceful Rest Cemetery-Thomasville, Georgia.

Monica Elizabeth Marshall Perkins was born in Thomasville, Ga. On April 12, 1962 to the late Willie James Marshall and Marian Green Harris. She was raised by Lillian Dennis Marshall.

She was a patient care and client service worker.

Monica Perkins leaves to cherish her precious memories; six children, DeNika Lashae (John) Rogers, Damein Lamar Mitchell, Casey LeNora Marshall (Adrian Samuel), Leonard Shamone Ford, Jr. (Sykeitha Moore), and Luciana Nicole (John) Lewis. Her Mother; Marian (Tellis) Harris; her siblings; Darlene (Paul) Bowden, Ardria (Cedrick) Clark, Christopher (Mary) Marshall, Gwendolyn Hester and Tamesha. Ex Husband; Derrick Perkins, Fathers of her children: Leonard Ford, Sr. And Johnny Hadley. Seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and beloved friends. She never met a stranger and had a heart of GOLD. Never Forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie James Marshall; Siblings, Anthony Hester and Dot; and two grandchildren.
