She graduated from New Union High School in Boston, Georgia in 1955.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Local survivors: Nora Gilmore, Betty Haughbrooks, Rosetta Brown, Thomas Andrews, Ynonne Armster, Sherrie Lynn Bodfield and a host of other relatives and friends.
