Lucille Hobson Rice was born on July 31, 1932 in Jackson, MI. to the late Doc Hobson and the late Sally Hobson. Lucille Rice transitioned from her earthly home on April 4, 2024 at Glen Mor Nursing Home in Thomasville, GA. on April 4, 2024.

She was baptized Publisher at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Thomasville, GA. She enjoyed the outdoors, flowers, reading, and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ezekiel Pete Rice and her siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Monte C. Rice (Marilyn Rice) of Winter Haven, FL. and Brian K. Rice (Lavinia Rice) of Moultrie, GA. She also leaves to cherish her memories seven grandchildren, Michael Rice of Winter Haven, FL, Brandon Rice of Atlanta, GA, Bryson & Amber Rice of Atlanta, GA, Braxton Rice of Atlanta, GA, Jennell Thompson & Michael Thompson of Moultrie, GA, Rebecca Fulton and JJ Fulton of Sylvester, GA, and Kendrick Blackwell & Oriel Blackwell of Moultrie, GA, twenty-one great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
