John Henry Mccaskill

Mr. John Henry McCaskill was born September 9th, 1929 in Boston Georgia to the late Jim and Hazel Raines McCaskill. He attended Old Boston School, in Boston Georgia, later enlisting into the United States Army where he served as a military police and also fought in the North Korean War.

John Henry returned home from deployment and married the love of his life, the late Ruth Delores Cain McCaskill on November 23rd,1953. After serving time in the Army, John Henry was employed and retired as a meat butcher at Sunnyland in Moultrie, Georgia. Left to cherish his loving memories are his daughter Karen(Ronnie) Marshall, St. Petersburg, Florida, and A Daughter-in-law Theresa Davis-McCaskill, Tifton, Georgia. Seven Grandchildren:  Johnathan McCaskill, Chigasaki, Japan, Lakesha McCaskill, Griffin, Georgia, Morris McCaskill Jr. Los Angeles, California, J'neese McCaskill, Hampton, Georgia, Karin "Tasha" Glaze, Thomasville, Georgia, LaTiffany McCaskill, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Tavani Glaze (Vontress), St. Petersburg, Florida. Eight Great-Grandchildren: Jyteris Horne, McDonough, Georgia, JaMiracle Glaze, Thomasville, Georgia, Kameelah Costa Grimes( Adam), Burbank, California, Jontez Phillips, Thomasville, Georgia, Morris McCaskill III, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jayden Alston, Thomasville, Georgia, TaJneese Glaze, Hampton, Georgia, Nyriah Glaze, Tampa, Florida and Tavani "T.J." Glaze Jr., Jacksonville, Florida and One Great-Great Grandson Karter Glaze, Hampton, Georgia. Three Sisters: Sue Willis, Daytona Beach, Florida, Sylvia Ward-Hampton, Lake Wales, Florida and Connie Barrs, Jacksonville, Florida. A Host of nieces and nephews. Two devoted friends: Jim Jackson, Thomasville, Georgia, and Lee Thomas, Jacksonville, Georgia

John Henry is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Delores McCaskill, a daughter Barbara Ann McCaskill, a son Morris McCaskill, and a devoted daughter/niece Betty Walker Bowdry.
