Jessica Ann (Mcginty) Bousley

I n L ov ing Me m o r y o f J essica A nn Bousley Jessica Ann Bousley was born September 27, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Jess and Hazle McGinty. She was the second child of two girls. She attended Wayne County Schools and she graduated from Southeastern High School, located in Detroit, Michigan. Jessica was married to Joseph D. Bousley in 1974 and was widowed in 1997. Jessica always loved children and eventually became a paraprofessional in the Miami-Dade County School System around 1985. As a paraprofessional, Jessica didn’t realize how her charm, love, with, and admiration would help not only her students, but everyone around her. Ms. Jessica also loved music and became the mastermind of the group BDOK, which consisted of Daniel Ferguson, Brian Smith, and Okhan Honegan. She always persevered forward ensuring she finished what she started. Jessica retired from Miami-Dade County Schools in 2015. After retirement, her main focus was her boys, Daniel, Brian, and Okhan. She not only had love for her students and music, she also had a passion for writing. Ms. Jessica Ann Bousley touched the hearts of many in so many ways and will be truly missed. On September 30, 2022, Jessica Ann Bousley departed this life. Jessica is preceded in death by her father, Jesse McGinty, her mother, Hazel McGinty, and her sister, Juanita McGinty Thomas. She leaves to cherish her memory: her brother, Martin C. McGinty, Sr., a son, Daniel Ferguson, a host of nieces and nephews and many other sorrowing family and friends.
