Jerry Teal, Sr.

Jerry Teal Sr. The son of the late Lester Teal and Odessa Mitchell Teal was born on March 5, 1949 in Tifton, Ga. He attended Elementary School in Sale City, Ga. He graduated from Camilla Consolidated School in Camilla, Ga. He joined Sale City Baptist Church at an early age. Later the church name was changed to Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Jerry met and married Juanita Young on May 13, 1967. To this union six children were born. Three children are deceased.

On November 23, 2021, Jerry went home to be with the Lord surrounded with his family by his side.

He became a member of White Rock Baptist Church where he served faithfully. He was a God-fearing man and loved everyone.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of fifty-five years Juanita Young Teal; one daughter, Cheryl Allen; two sons, Jerry Teal, Jr., and Mark Teal; Sisters, Bettye Curry (Kenny-DECEASED) Conyers, Ga., Brenda Doyle (DECEASED), Laura Johnson, Miami FL., Jimmie Nell Doyl, Tifton, Ga.; Brothers, Randolph Doyle, Tifton Ga., Willie Frank Doyle, Atlanta, Ga., Wayne Doyle, Pittsburgh, Pa., Tommie Hall (Shebrenda), Jacksonville, FL., Bobby Doyle (Mirrhonda).
