It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Janie Mae Hudson. Celebration of life services for her passing will be honored by her family and friends on , Saturday November 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Disciples of Jesus Ministries - Thomasville, Ga..
Janie Mae Hudson Haliburton was born on August 8, 1947 in Tallahassee, FL. To the late Eddie Bo Hudson, Sr. And the late Emma Mae Hudson.
Janie Mae graduated from Magnolia High School in Thomasville, Ga. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age and joined St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church in Miccosukee, Florida. Janie later moved to Thomasville, Ga. Where she pursued her career at the Manufacturing Company in Barwick, Ga. She loved to sew, fish, shop, and bargain\hunt. And most of all she loved her family as one.
She departed this world and went home to glory on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
Janie Mae leaves to cherish her memories; her sisters; Patsy L. Wilkins, Hattie Hudson of Thomasville, GA; and Mildred (Tony) Clemons of Lantana, FL. Children; Jacqueline (Joseph) Lundy, Linda (Terry) Willis, Donta (Erica) Haliburton, all of Thomasville, GA. Stanley (Shakyra) Haliburton, of Quitman, GA., Special Niece; Deshanna “Nikki” Hudson; Godchild; Carolyn Wolf. She will be missed dearly by her fourteen grandchildren, Saquita, Rodney (Arisha), Albert, Suriyah (Lemoses Carr), Chelsea (Jerry), Kembrick, Terrence (Layoya), Shwanda, Rashad (India), John, Henry, Stanley Jr., Mikayli, Donta Jr., Tamaujia, and Kynsley. Step-Children; Wille Jr., Stephon (Brenda), and Anthony Wilson, whom she loved dearly. A host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed by her lifetime partner, Charles Brooker, and his three children Chelsea, Kimberly, and George. Her Best Friends Maggie Wilson, Johnnie Mae Young, Betty Sirmons.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie Hudson, Sr. And Emma Mae Hudson; three brothers, Eddie, Lloyd, and Willie; five sisters, Annie, Maggie, Mary, Emma, and Aurthenia; son, Harold Jerome Haliburton.
