James C White Jr

James C. White, Jr., passed away on September 23, 2024 at Thomasville Health and Rehab. He was born on July 21, 1936 to the late James and Cerlister (Parker) White in Mitchell County (Georgia).

James was educated at Douglass High School and graduated in 1956. He worked in the welding industry before returning back home to Thomasville, Georgia.

He was the second oldest of his siblings. He is survived by two sisters: Luvernia “Sal” Redding of Thomasville, Georgia and Ethel (Levander) Lilly of Jacksonville, Florida; and one brother: Willie (Lucille) White of Jacksonville, Florida.

We would like to say thank you to his caretaker, Breaconta Bevard, to Thomasville Health and Rehab, and to Bethany Hospice and Palliative Care.

He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny “Pete” White, one sister Virginia Flowers, and other relatives.
