Geraldine Barbara Ann Wilkins Pressley Sunrise 12/12/1961 - Sunset 02/24/2025
Was born in Metcalf, GA to Patsy L. Wilkins and the late L.C. Wilkins, Sr. She accepted Christ at the age of 13 and joined St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church in 1975, where she was a faithful member of Choir #3 and also a Joshua Member. She is a 1981 class graduate of Thomas County Central High School. She attended Thomas Technical Institute. She worked many jobs but loved working at Kinro and as an attendant/sorter at Goodwill from which she retired.
She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Roderick Wilkins; grand children Tre’Aunna Williams, Aurora Pressley, and Andre Pressley; stepdaughter Cherie Pressley; stepson George Pressley, Jr.; mother Patsy Lou Wilkins; sisters Marie (Alvin) Ford and Dorothy Smith; brothers L.C. (Ola Mae) Wilkins, Jr., Willie (Jane) Wilkins. Nephews: Javon Pittman, Charles (Sharon) Wilkins; Larry (Carolyn) Fleno, Randy (Teresa) Smith, Jr., Devante (Shontel) Wilkins, Sr., Desmond Smith, Ja’marion Fleno; Nieces: Tremisha Wilkins, KaTisha (Taranza) Mckelvin, Anastasia Wilkins, Shavon Pittman, Jessica Ford, Allanah Jackson, Rayeah Ford, and Deondria Fleno; Uncle Amos Wilkins; aunts Emma Lynn, Nellie Wilkins, Pinkey (Otis) Hayes, and Annie Mae Jones; Brothers-in-laws: James Pressley (Willie Mae) and Jerry Pressley; Sister-in-law: Mary Frazier, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Pressley, Sr.; daughter Shamisha Wilkins; sister Gussie L. Wilkins; father, L.C. Wilkins, Sr.; and niece Patsy “Lisa” Wilkins.
