George Freddie Williams

George Freddie Williams, Jr., was born March 28, 1943, in New Orleans, Louisiana. George is survived by: his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Linda Williams, with whom he shared a home in Thomasville, Georgia, for ten years; his sister, Delores Eddington; his children, Wyndell Williams, Emery C. Lewis, Cassandra L. Morrison, and Marie H. Clark; his grandchildren, Tyshon Small, LaStanley L. Hunter, Aliaha L. Hunter, Urban T. Guthrie III, Kelpria Lewis, Lazaria E. Osikorobia, and Schnelle M. Osikorobia; his beloved cousins, Edwards Wiltz and Tanda Wiltz of New Orleans; and a host of great-grandchildren. He graduated with a degree in interior design. On July 19, 1984, he married Linda Williams. He owned J&L Seafood Market in Gainesville, Florida, with his beautiful wife, Linda. He was a long distance truck driver and owner/operator for more than fifty years. George was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather. He enjoyed cracking jokes, fixing things that were broken, and cooking seafood. George Williams was truly one of a kind, and he will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
