Frank Delaney, III, 57, of Thomasville, GA, peacefully passed away Saturday morning, August 3, 2024. The graveside service will be held Thursday, Aug. 8, 11 a.m. at Peaceful Rest Cemetery, with Dr. Leon Jones and Pastor James Thomspon, officiating. He was born November 11, 1966, in Thomasville to Frank Delaney, Jr. and the late Eunice Lynn Powell Delaney. Frank, or more affectionately known as Bull, was the second oldest of four children. He was a member of Ochlocknee Missionary Baptist Church, graduated from Thomasville High School, and attended Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL. He retired after 25 years of dedicated service to the State of Georgia and the Department of Juvenile Corrections. Survivors are: his father Frank Delaney Jr of Thomasville; brother Reginald (Stephanie) Delaney, Sr of Baytown, TX; sisters Kimberly Delaney of Rosharon, TX and Tonya Delaney of Thomasville, GA; aunts Clara Mae Jones, Rhetta Lee Trutlin, and Virginia Gail Burns of Thomasville, GA, April Diggs of Somerset, N.J.,Aundrea Powell of Tallahassee; uncles Wayne Jones of Atlanta, GA and Terell Mills of New York, NY; niece Delanye Delaney of Port Arthur, TX, nephew Reginald Delaney, Jr of Brenham, TX, niece Mikayla Graham of Thomasville, GA, and a host of family and friends; caregivers Perida Mitchell, Willie Mitchell, Jr, Fredrick Brooks, and the compassionate staffs at Camellia Gardens and Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center, all of Thomasville, GA. In lieu of flowers, food, and any other appreciated considerations, the family requests that all expressions of condolence be made to the Frank Delaney Scholarship Fund, Thomas County Central High School, in honor of Frank “Bull” Delaney, III. No repast will be held.
