Early Rene Shannon-Sapp "Rene" was born on October 27, 1957 in Thomasville, Georgia to Annie Lee Shannon and the late Earl Shannon.

Mrs. Shannon-Sapp departed this life on May 18, 2022. Mrs. Shannon-Sapp graduated from Thomasville High School in 1975. At an early age she was converted, joined, and was still a member at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Metcalf, Georgia. In the early 90's, Early Rene moved to Warm Spring Georgia, where she met her husband Ralph Sapp. She later returned to Thomasville and started working as a caregiver. Early Rene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves to cherish her memories, Her Husband: Ralph Sapp of Atlanta, Georgia; Mother: Annie Lee Shannon of Thomasville, Georgia; Daughters: Roshonda Sapp and Karina Sapp  both of Thomasville, Georgia; Son: Jamaree Shannon, of Thomasville, Georgia; Granddaughters: Tanaria Shannon of Miccosukee, Florida and A'Zjiya Shannon of Albany, Georgia; Sisters: Linda Gene Shannon, Darlene Shannon-Thomas, and Priscilla Ann Shannon all of Thomasville, Georgia; Sister-In-Laws: Earnestine Shannon of Thomasville, Georgia, Vanessa Harvey, Yvonne Sapp, Pamela Jenkins, and Dorothy (Leo) Pinkett all of Atlanta, Georgia; Brother-In-Laws: Wayne Gates and Curtis Gates; Nephews and Niece: Anthony Hardy of Thomasville, Georgia, Trishun (Hurbert) Futch of Ludowici, Georgia, Quimberly (Keith) Rollins of Dothan, Alabama, Rosanna Shannon, Latasha Gibson, Crystal Hayes, Krystal Thomas, and Sonya Thomas all of Thomasville, Georgia, and Cynette Shannon of Tallahassee, Florida; Aunts: Queen (Charlie) Lamb, Johnnie (Paul) Guyton of Metcalf, Georgia, Rebecca Pattmon of Enterprise, Alabama, Lorene (Frank) Engram and Flora Jean Ceaser of Thomasville, Georgia, Betty Stephens and Christine McClendon of Tampa, Florida; Uncles: Tellis (Marily) Harris, Frank Ceasar, James (Janette) Ceasar, Gary (Stephanie) Ceasar, John (Shirley) Ceasar, and Alvin Ceasar all of Thomasville, Georgia, Bob Shannon, Jimmy Shannon, Robert Shannon, and Eugene Shannon all of Tampa, Florida; Great-Aunts: Gladys Murray Mitchell of Columbus, Georgia and Mary Alice (Herman) Hadley of Thomasville, Georgia; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Early Rene was preceded in death by her father Earl Shannon; Brother: Billy Shannon; and Sister: Arthina "Fennie" Shannon.
