Reflections of Life
Doreatha Coleman Bush was born in Thomasville, Georgia, to the late Essie Mae Thomas and Willie Coleman, Sr. She was united in marriage to Nathaniel Bush Jr. She attended Douglas High School and was a dedicated employee at Sunnyland until its closure. She found happiness in preparing meals, sharing her love through food, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. She also had a deep love for flowers and found joy in their beauty, which reflected her kind and gentle spirit.
Doreatha leaves behind a legacy of love to be cherished by her son, Marcus Bush Sr.; her daughters, Connie Herring and Sheila Richardson (Jamie); her loving sister, Dorothy Jean Brown of Atlanta, Georgia; her cherished grandchildren, Alicia, Marcia, Michelle, Marcus Jr., Cindy, Marquese, Tyree, Shakari, and Jabria; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, James Coleman, Willie Coleman, and David Coleman; and her two sisters, Martha Duncan and Annie Mae McMath
