Dola Ann Scully

Mrs. Dola Ann Scully was the daughter of the late Johnnie Dale McKinney and Mrs. Eunice Bell of Thomasville, GA.  

The Lord called for Mrs. Scully on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at her home in Tallahassee, FL.  Mrs. Scully became a Christian at a very young age in Donaldsonville, GA. She moved to Thomasville, GA, at age thirteen. She attended school at Douglass Middle and moved on to attend school at Thomasville High.

In 1991, she graduated from college, majoring in Business.

Mrs. Scully met Mr. Scully in 1992. They married in 1996 at First Unity Baptist by Rev. Charlie Ross.  Mrs. Dola later moved her membership from Simon Road Church of Christ in Tallahassee to First Unity Baptist Church in Thomasville, GA. After marrying Charles Scully, she later joined Pinehill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Scully leaves behind while she joins a greater and finer home:

Three children:  Lorenzo Johnson of Tallahassee, Florida, Ravon Brown of Tallahassee, Florida, and Robert Brown III of Fredericksburg, Virginia

One sister:  Mrs. Laurene Travis of Thomasville, GA

Three brothers of Thomasville, GA:   Johnny McKinney, Robert Bell, and late brother Michael McKinney

Three grandchildren: Kiara Harris of Tallahassee, Florida,  Jayden Brown of Tallahassee, Florida,  and Caelyn Brown of Tallahassee, Florida

Several uncles and aunts, and a host of nieces and nephews, and several godchildren:  Eunice Williams,  Yolanda Travis,  Dola Travis,  Eyana Young,  Sonya Clark,  Adrinne McKiney,  Porscha McKiney
