Claretha Greene

Claretha Greene was born in Thomasville, Georgia on August 29, 1933.  She was the only child of Frank and Rosa Lee Greene.

Claretha received her education in Thomasville, where she attended Douglas High School.  She was lovingly called "Ree" and was on the cheering squad and the N.H.A.  Allied youth organization.  She graduated from Douglas High School in 1951.

Claretha migrated to New York and was employed at Graphic Communications as a book binder until her retirement.

Claretha was a social butterfly and loved to entertain family and friends.  She was known for her beautiful smile and infectious laugh.

In 2019 she relocated to Tallahassee, Florida till she was called home to the Lord on August 10, 2024, just 19 days shy of her 91st birthday.

Claretha will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends.
