Clarence McCoy Jr.

Reflection of Life

Clarence McCoy Jr. was born on October 5, 1960 in Metcalf, Georgia to the late Jeanette Herring-McCoy and the late Clarence McCoy Sr. He was baptized at an early age. He attended school at Magnolia and Central High. He spent his free time at Thomas Grady Service Center where he got to meet and interact with other people. He loved dancing and was the life of the party.

Clarence was with The McNish Family in Thomasville first. He later moved to Valdosta, Georgia with Ms. Janet Lester. He was cared for by Roland Dodson, Anthony White, Carla, and Carlos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette and Clarence McCoy; sisters, Charlotte Jackson and Gracie McCoy; brother, Hubert Herring; and nephews, Herbert Gilbert and Anthony McCoy.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sister Rosa Lee Booker-Walker (Alphonzo) of Thomasville, Ga; nieces Tameka Smith of Pelham, Georgia and Miracle McCoy of Thomasville, Ga; nephews Antonio Booker and Eddie Booker, Jr. both of Thomasville, Ga.; And a host of great nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
