Christine Mccray

Christine McCray was born on January 23, 1928 in Thomas County, to the late Smith Perkins and Rosa Lee Burns Perkins. She was married to the late Plaz James McCray, Sr. Proceeding her death is James McCray Jr.

Christine gave her life to Christ at an early age, at Aucilla Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member. She was a faithful caregiver for the late Mrs. Silver for 60 years and helped raise her 3 children.

Christine leaves to cherish her memories and life; her daughter Dorothy Nyame (Joseph) of Philadelphia, PA.; son: Ira (Janice) McCray of Thomasville, GA.; 4 sisters: Vera Williams and Corine Griggs of Thomasville, GA., Ruth Mae Wilson of Albany, GA., and Debra Thomas (Vora) of Cairo, GA,; 2 brothers: Floyd Perkins of Thomasville, GA., and Milton Perkins of West Palm Beach, FL.; a family of in-laws: Alfred McCray and Betty McCray Richardson of Thomasville, GA., Doris Smith of Boston, GA., and Ira Lee Richardson (Jasper) of Delray, FL.; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Special Friends: Harbrinna Biggins, Crystal Barnes, Monica Diggs Jackson, and Josephine Tillman.
