Charles Seigers, Jr.

April 13, 1966 — April 2, 2022

Thomasville, Georgia

Charles Seigers Jr. was born to the late Wille Mae Seigers-Mitchell and Charles Seigers Sr. in Columbus, Ohio on April 13, 1966. Alongside his late mother, Charles Jr. became a lifelong member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church; where he was ordained as Deacon Charles Seigers Jr. and continued his humble service in this role at First Unity Missionary Baptist Church until his passing. Deacon Seigers remained unwavering in his faith in the Lord and found great purpose in God's calling over his life until his very last breath. A true friend to all, Deacon Seigers found great joy in serving others and was never more than a phone call away, ready to help anyone no matter the time of day or night. He was one of the most genuine people you might ever meet, definitely not afraid to speak his mind on any situation, while in the same moment one the first people to speak hope and God's word added into his opinion. His genuine and fiery personality uplifted people everywhere he went, and he made sure to keep a positive and hopeful attitude over his own situation every single day. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and took pleasure in the small things. Washing cars for the community, along with any type of celebration were some of his greatest joys. It goes without saying that he was the life of any party and could be found somewhere close to every dance floor. Deacon Seigers is survived by his Aunt, Ethel Lee Davis, his Brother and Sister-in-Law, Curtis & Carol Mitchell, his seven Nieces: Cassie Doricent, Jessieca Rivera, Sondra Williams, Sara Collins, Jenny Mitchell, Melissa Mitchell, Briana Mitchell, a host of great nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends, family, and community members whose lives he has touched tremendously. It is our great hope that we are each able to honor and keep his memory alive not only in our hearts, but most importantly in our actions as we go on with our lives day by day. We thank everyone in attendance, as well as those who could not make it in person but shared a kind thought, prayer, or a positive hope in memory of our Beloved Nephew, Brother, Uncle, and Friend Charles Seigers Jr. We know this is not a final goodbye and we find great comfort knowing that we will see you again. We love you Charlie B.
