Carolyn Phillis Fogle was born on March 21, 1948 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Fannie Bell Simmons and Leroy Simmons. At an early age she joined Providence Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Douglas High School, where she was a 1967 graduate. She married David Fogle in 1967, to that union, two children were born. She later had a third child. She worked at Sunnyland Packing Company until they closed. Everyday Carolyn will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Fannie Bell Simmons; Father; Leroy Simmons; Sisters: Mrytice Cone, Alvenia Simmons, Marion Hunter, Frances Smith, and Vivian Childs, and Brothers: Willie Lee Simmons, and Earnest A. Simmons
She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Carol Carnage (Craig), Alvin Fogle (Ruth), and Jonathan Bush; Brother Bernard Simmons (Thomasina); Sisters: Pauline Cone (Sammuel), and Jacquelyn Chambers (Michael); Grandchildren: Craig Carnage Jr., Christina Carnage, Brittany Carnage, Jonia, Jordyn, Kobe, Messiah, Adrian, Micah, Bella and Bush. The Family would like to express a special Thanks to Archbold IMCU Nurse Mekela Oamsier, Dr. Sheikh, CNA Pam Johns and Thomasine Shuler. As well as a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Family, and Friends.
