She was married to the late Albert Brown.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories two children: Tammy Green-Louis (Rousner) and Marquis Demere Brown; Two Granddaughters: Ashanti Anderson and Dallas Parmer and a grandson: Dillon Parmer: a brother: Pliney Monroe (Annette); a aunt: Lillie Ruth Burns; a special friend; Ben Travis; a bonus son: Albert Brown, Jr.; a brother-in-law: Michael Laing;

a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
