Bobby Joe Ross

Reflection of Life

Bobby Joe Ross, the son of Jessie Ross and the late Annie Lois Willis Ross, was born on January 31, 1971, in Thomas County, Georgia. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He later joined First Unity Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Charlie Ross.

He attended Thomas County Central High School, graduating in 1990. He attended Darton College, Albany, GA, majoring in Psychology. He was employed by Coats and Clark, Southwestern State Hospital, Sanders Farms, and FPL.

He loved his family and spending time with his friends and listening to music. He also liked spending time with his favorite cousins, Pamela Nicole Ross and Karen Washington McClain.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a dear father, Jessie Ross; a brother, Ernest Willis (Cherry); sisters, Harriet Lynn Register (Andrew Coe), Cynthia Rollins (Franklin); uncles, Lester Willis, all of Thomasville, GA; Rev. Charlie Ross (Janice), Boston, GA; aunts, Sarah Hardy, Ruby Turner, Mable Ross Johnson, all of Thomasville, GA; Helen Ross Reynolds, Miccosukee, FL; a special godmother Hattie Mae Garland and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
