Bobby Lenton Sr.

Bobby Lenton, Sr was born on October 14, 1948, to the Late Essie Mae Penix and the Late Robert Penix, Sr in Thomasville, GA.  Bobby attended the public school system of Pasco County where he met and made many friends.  Bobby moved to New York City and later moved back to Thomasville, GA where he lived for the past 45 years and was well known in his community.  Bobby was a friend to many, helped anyway he could, and was a huge football fan.

God picked a beautiful flower from his beautiful garden on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, and Bobby's loving eyes were closed.  Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Essie and Robert Penix, his brother Clarence Sims, Sr, and his sisters Delores Penix and Roberta Penix.

Bobby is survived by his children Bobby Lenton, Jr of Atlanta, GA, Lena Lenton of San Diego, CA, Lewis Lenton of Atlanta, GA, and Paris Lenton of Atlanta, GA.  His grandchildren Dasianick Lenton, Queen Breyonna Lenton, Shanovia Whittleton, Zyra Wansley, Tekiayah Lenton, and great-grandchild Ezra Lenton.  Sisters Katheren Southward (Billy) of Dade City, FL, Lenola Penix of Dade City, FL, Cheryl Penix of Dade City, FL, Marilynn Camacho (Jose) of Chicago, IL, and Robin Penix Apollo Beach, FL.  Brothers Robert Penix, Jr (Felecia) Dade City, FL, Alvin (Deina) of Sefner, FL, Mark (Geneva) of Dade City, FL and Bernard Penix of Warren, MI.  1 aunt, Eunice Penix of Dade City, FL, a sister-in-law Adelle Sims of New York, NY; a special friend Helen (Nita) Calhoun of Dade City, FL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
