Arzennia Bradshaw

March 14, 1934 — October 27, 2022

Thomasville, GA

Mrs. Arzennia Bradshaw was born on March 14, 1933, in Cairo, Georgia. At the age of 89, she will be joining two of her siblings, Joe Wilkes and Abraham Wilkes, Jr.; husband, Willie M. Bradshaw, Sr.; and three children, Patricia B. Washington (Willie), Paul S. Bradshaw, Sr., and Lena C. Smith. She leaves behind her two sisters, Lorena Gatlin of Miami, Florida, and Paulina Davis of Atlanta, Georgia. Arzennia was the mother of eight children, and she leaves behind five, Wadell Bradshaw, Sylvia Joseph (Larry), Willie M. Bradshaw (Regina Cooper), John D. Bradshaw, and Curtis Bradshaw (Ester). Mrs. Bradshaw will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Shaconda Ivey, Renita Smith, Paul S. Bradshaw, Jr., DeAndre Scott, Kentazha “Quesha” Bradshaw (Donelle Gay, Sr.), Marquetta Smith, Jontae Bradshaw, Kimbreyuanna Bradshaw, Montrez Spivey, Kealeeon Miranda, Willie M. Bradshaw III, Faith A. Bradshaw, and Madison Wimberly. She was the great-great-grandmother of one and the great- grandmother of a few. Mrs. Bradshaw’s last known residence of 52 years was 111 Lowery Avenue in Thomasville, Georgia. She loved to sing in the choir, play the piano and organ, have a good time with her family and friends, and she was a seamstress. She was a sharpshooter that came straight from the hip but had nothing less than a heart of gold. Although she birthed eight and took care of them on her own, she still played a mother role to so many more. She was known for her famous biscuits made from scratch accompanied by cane syrup. She was a Christian who believed in God as her Savior. Whenever things went wrong in life, she’d always call on the name of Jesus for help and comfort. If you knew her, then you would know there is not just one word to truly describe her
