Audie Lee Williams

Audie Lee Williams (Sweet Audie Lee), was born December 13, 1955, to the late Mary Lee Crumby and Edgar Williams, of Thomasville, GA.  He was a graduate of Thomasville High School.  He later went to work for the City of Thomasville for many years.  After he departed from the City of Thomasville, he went on to work at Southwestern State Hospital for 20-plus years where he retired in August of 2000.

On January 28th, at 11:00 PM he gained his wings.  He leaves to mourn two daughters Beverly Williams (Thomasville, GA), and LaQuanda Williams (Tallahassee, FL), and a loving sister, Tuwanda Yellock (Cairo, GA).  Loving brothers Patrick Williams (Tracey Williams) in Tuscaloosa, AL, and three half-sisters, Shirley Spencer, and Dorothy Clark Allen, both of Thomasville, GA and Angie Myles (Cairo, GA).  One half-brother, Bobby Spencer (Thomasville, GA).

He leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jarquese Harris, Cinsire Williams, Quinnterion Reddick, Amir Williams, Italy Lamons, Lyric Lamons, all of Thomasville, GA., and Brianna Williams of Tallahassee, FL.  He was preceded in death by his loving daughter Leslie Williams, Stepfather Charlie Crumby and half-brother Eugene Spencer Jr., half-sisters, Bessie Jones, and Maggie Spencer.  Audie leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
